Konzerthausorchester Berlin Debut

After a spontaneous general rehearsal replacement last season, the orchestra reinvited me to conduct the final concerts of the Mendelssohn Piano Competition. Programme: the two Mendelssohn piano concertos played by four young promising pianists, and the overture "The Hebrides" - a piece I conducted 8 years ago in my final Schulmusik-exam... THAT moment when I decided to study conducting... Would I ever have dreamed of conducting it again in Berlin with THIS wonderful orchestra?
